This week is National Nurses’ Week so we take this opportunity to thank the nurses in our parish as well as those who volunteer with our Parish Nurse Ministry. Our Parish Nurses promote and support an individual’s need for spiritual, physical, and mental well-being. They are available to provide assistance with elder care issues, health specific education and counseling, and to make referrals for health care resources. Parish Nurses do not provide any “hands on” nursing care. If you or a family member would like a nurse to contact you regarding any of these concerns or if you are interested in volunteering for this ministry please contact the Parish Office at 973-635-0625.
