Deacon Joe Wisneski has served St. Patrick Church as a deacon for the past 27 years. Deacon Joe was ordained a deacon on May 25, 1991. In his 28 years as a deacon, he has worked hard and contributed so much to the parish which includes presence at weekday mass, preaching at daily mass and Sunday liturgies, and serving at funerals and wakes, celebrating baptisms, scheduling baptisms as well as presence at pastoral staff meetings. He has also contributed much time to the Knights of Columbus and monthly prepares his special recipe for chili that goes to Eva's Village. Although Deacon Joe is retiring from formal ministry, he will remain in the parish as a member of the assembly as well as take part in particular liturgical ceremonies that highlight major events in the parish. He will be missed in countless ways for the contribution that he has made to St. Patrick Church. On Sunday, October 13, the parish will celebrate Deacon Joe's accomplishments with gathering after the 11 am liturgy at 12 pm in the Fr. Ed Center. This will be a fine time for all to congratulate him on his contribution to St. Patrick Church.
