The Interfaith Clergy Council is working with Chatham’s Mayor, administration and a local firm, Boxcar, Inc., to provide boxes of groceries to those in need. Boxcar takes the orders/donations and delivers the food boxes on Wednesdays for distribution at the United Methodist Church on Main Street across the street from the CVS shopping center. If you would like to donate a box of groceries, go to the Boxcar website https://platform.boxcarapp.com/listing/320/reserve. If you run into a problem, call Boxcar at 908-485-7275 and April Kabbash can help you.
If you yourself are in need of food to supplement your family at this time, you also can avail yourself of this service every Wednesday. The pickup line forms behind the Methodist Church and distribution opens at 11 AM. It is first come, first served until the food runs out.
